On my way to uni, “Storie” shop caught my eye. When I passed the door, I was amazed to discover all the nice objects inside.

Jewellery, tapestries, décorative objects from all over the world… You can find anything you like to turn your living room into a sophisticated and cosy place, or perhaps a unique present for your friends.

What I like is not only that every object is fair trade, but also that they actually have a label to explain all the stories behind them. You will learn about the artisans of Bengal who become financially autonomous thanks to the textiles they make, or about “Article 22” , a company which handcrafts design objects made from Vietnam War shrapnel.

If you have any questions, Fiona or Véronique will be pleased to help you. One can feel their passion about these objects and stories behind them. Be curious and have a look, you won’t be disapointed.
